Does your homeschool feel like a jumble of good ideas, half-used curriculum, scattered supplies, and way too many activities? You are not alone—and you are not failing.

Most homeschool families have never been shown how to design a homeschool on purpose, from the inside out, instead of just reacting to every shiny thing that comes along.

In this very practical session, we’ll walk through a clear framework for building a homeschool that fits your family’s mission, your children’s hearts, and your everyday reality. Drawing from the Heart School approach (which I’ll explain in the workshop), we’ll start with why you’re homeschooling and use that as the filter for everything else—curriculum, schedules, space, co-ops, and more.

We’ll get super specific about:

  1. Curriculum choices – how to quickly rule out what doesn’t fit, avoid expensive “mistakes,” and choose resources that match your worldview, your goals, and your teaching style
  2. Learning & teaching styles – how to set things up so you reduce friction and strengthen relationships instead of fighting every lesson
  3. Planning your days – moving from rigid, guilt-producing schedules to flexible, mission-driven routines that actually work in real life
  4. Organization & classroom setup – what you really need (and what you don’t), how to make the most of your space—whether that’s a school room or a corner of your kitchen—and simple systems to tame the paper and supply chaos
  5. Co-ops, activities & social stuff – questions to ask before you say yes, how to tell if a group supports your mission or undermines it, and how much is too much for this season
  6. Margin & seasons – how to plan for busy or hard seasons (new babies, illness, ministry, etc.) without feeling like you’ve “ruined” your homeschool

You’ll leave this workshop with a practical game plan you can start using right away:

A filter to help you say yes and no with confidence

A simple structure for your days and weeks

Concrete ideas for setting up your space and systems

A fresh vision for using all of this to go after your children’s hearts, not just their test scores

If you’re overwhelmed by options, tired of feeling behind, or just ready to reset and start fresh, this session will help you finally see how all the pieces—curriculum, planning, setup, organization, and co-ops—can work together to support the mission God has given your family."
