Learn how to use algebra tiles for basic integer operations including adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing.
Explore how to use algebra tiles to model and solve linear equations, simplify expressions, factor polynomials, and perform operations such as addition, subtraction, and multiplication of algebraic expressions.
Be provided multiple resources for using algebra tiles both free and paid including a handout to create your own, as well as the information to download a free virtual set of algebra tiles and where you can purchase a 3-d plastic set of algebra tiles.
By the end of the workshop, parents will have the confidence and tools to integrate algebra tiles into their math curriculum, making concepts more accessible and enjoyable for all students."

When Love Is Tested: What Comes Out When You’re Tired, Triggered, and Under Pressure A Practical Look at Biblical Love in Marriage and Parenting
Friday May 8, 2026 10:30am - 11:20am EDT
Most of us know what love should look like—until we’re exhausted, overwhelmed, and pushed past our limits. That’s when reactions replace intention, and regret follows hard conversations with our spouse or kids.

This honest, practical workshop explores how Biblical love actually functions in the pressure-filled moments of family life. You’ll learn how God’s definition of love reshapes your words, tone, discipline, forgiveness, and responses—right where marriage and parenting feel the hardest.

You’ll walk away with practical tools, clearer language, and a renewed perspective to help you respond with Christlike love instead of emotional reflex—especially on the days when life feels loud, messy, and personal.

ADD-ON CLASS - Photography Workshop - Session 2
Friday May 8, 2026 12:30pm - 1:40pm EDT
Enjoy taking photos?! The Photo Class is a series of two interactive classroom sessions centered around learning practical photography skills regardless of what camera you have. Bring any digital camera! For any skill level. Let’s go in-depth and more hands-on than a regular convention presentation. With the theme of “Deeper Than Snapshots”, we’ll explore the 5 distinct times of day in the natural world so we can take full advantage of whatever lighting situation we are shooting under. Students will then be assigned a specific photo assignment which they will have until the second session to fulfil. For conclusion, parents are invited to join us as we review the class submissions, learn what we can from the assignment experience, and leave with practical tips for growing in photography in the future. If you love snapping photos, you won’t want to miss these sessions! God has given us a love for art and beautiful things . . . let’s hone our photography skills for His glory!

Session 1
After students have photographed the Class Assignment given in the first session, parents are invited to join us for one of the best parts of the whole Class: a live review of the photos everyone has submitted for the assignments! Not only is observing everyone’s creative perspective on the same assignments totally fun, it can be deeply insightful making it a perfect springboard for gathering practical tips for helping budding photographers grow and excel in their photography beyond the classroom.

Becoming Steadfast Soldiers through Scripture Memory
Friday May 8, 2026 12:50pm - 1:40pm EDT
Living in an ever-changing society often leads to more and more confusion as to what truth actually is. This often puts parents and their children in trials pertaining to what is okay and what’s not. Sadly, we as a society seem to have become desensitized to the wickedness around us because of how often it is portrayed as acceptable, “ok,” funny, or amusing. But, if we allow the Word of God to be a light to our path, it will give us eyes to see what is good, acceptable, and perfect in the eyes of God -- ultimately showing us the grace that is needed to bring glory to His name.

does, come discover four main areas where doubt gains a foothold. Learn to
recognize the symptoms of each and develop strategies to identify and

Friday May 8, 2026 4:00pm - 4:50pm EDT
Kids are filled with very active imaginations, sometimes this is viewed as a negative when it comes to learning, but the truth is, it's a powerful weapon. We humans tend to learn best from experience, hence the School of Hard Knocks. Imagination is a tool from the Lord to allow us to experience things; events, places, people, and times, that we couldn't in any other way. Parents who learn to leverage this power rather than fight it will wind up with students who are more engaged, excited, and willing to learn.

Hope for the Fearful, Worried, and Anxious
Friday May 8, 2026 5:20pm - 6:10pm EDT
Most of us know that worry is wrong, so we disguise it with different terms like, “concerned,” “troubled,” or “bothered.” Regardless of the term used, worry saps our energy, drains our joy, destroys evangelism, and even aggravates many physical ailments. The Bible is clear that worry is sinful, idolatrous, and a sign of unbelief, and that fear is wrong when it is allowed to motivate thinking and behavior that is unbiblical. In this workshop, you will discover the biblical solutions to overcoming fear and worry and also how to apply these same truths in the lives of the girls and women you disciple.

The Active Ingredient in Reading Comprehension
Friday May 8, 2026 5:20pm - 6:10pm EDT
"Just like baking a cake, mixing the right ingredients together can make the
cake rise beautifully and taste delicious. Just one incorrect ingredient or
incorrect measurement can lead to a flattened, distasteful cake.
Comprehension is similar in that the
“just right” ingredients are needed for this
to transpire. Join this session to understand the
“just right” ingredients to help
your students

comprehension."

The Busy Mom’s Guide to Daylight: How to Fit Your Size 16 Day Into a Size 10
Friday May 8, 2026 5:20pm - 6:10pm EDT
"Tick Tock. Have you ever experienced a series of days, weeks or even months when you felt
like you just could NOT get on top of all that you had to do? Have you just decided that it's
either school or dinner? Or maybe you just gave up making dinner and now everyone has
matching socks again! Most moms struggle with finding a balance when it comes to staying on
top of all we need to get done.
Have you ever read 2 Corinthians 12:9? You probably have... it says, ""My strength is made
perfect in weakness"". Mothering reveals weakness ... it's true! And that's a good thing, because
it means you get to give even more glory to the Lord when you graduate your kids see that they
are walking with the Lord.
Busy mom, if you're struggling with trying to do it all, you will enjoy hearing some of Heidi's
favorite tips for managing all that pulls us...and still finding time to fit in ""other things"" (like alone
time with your husband!)
This is an opportunity to GET SET FREE from the expectations of others, laugh out loud and
learn how two words: BE INTENTIONAL can make a huge difference in your ability to manage
your home well. Bring a friend and leave your preconceived ideas at the door because real
moms sometimes serve Cheerios for dinner!"

Why Homeschooled Kids Need to Learn About Sex at an Early Age
Friday May 8, 2026 5:20pm - 6:10pm EDT
We often think that homeschooling means our children don’t need to learn about the birds and the bees until much later than children who attend public or private school. Yet waiting to have the initial sex talk can have disastrous consequences. Come explore why having these conversations early is vital, as well as when and how to begin “the talk.”
