Raising Wildly Capable Kids in a Convenience-Driven World
Saturday May 9, 2026 11:00am - 11:50am EDT
Every parent knows their kids are capable, but raising wildly capable kids takes intention and often requires the less-convenient choice. In this session we'll discuss the small, everyday choices you can make to encourage growth and maturity in your child. We'll also talk about the "hero moments," or big rock accomplishments you can use as mile markers on their journey to adulthood. Teaching Your Child to Forgive: Forgiveness 101
Saturday May 9, 2026 11:00am - 11:50am EDT
Struggling to teach your child to forgive? And let's be honest, does forgiveness come easily for you?

At Future Marriage University, we consider forgiveness the single most important relational skill. You simply can't thrive in long-term, sacrificial relationships without it. Which means you can't thrive in marriage or any family relationships without being able to forgive.

Whether you're the one with hurts you need to let go or whether you want to see someone else set free from bitterness, you will be both challenged and encouraged by the biblical truth shared in this session.

AI: The Most Dangerous Opportunity Your Children Will Ever Face.
Saturday May 9, 2026 1:30pm - 2:20pm EDT
"The world is about to get very weird, very fast. AI is being shoved down our throats like it’s the fruit from some shiny new Tree of Knowledge, and most of us are standing around like a deer stuck in the headlights. This isn’t just another “screen-time” talk. This is a declaration of war. In the next ten years your student will be tempted by AI that can fake their homework, fake their text messages, fake being their friend or love interest, fake entire sermons, and—mark my words—fake the very voice of God Himself if you let it.

I’m not going to coddle you with “balance” or “moderation.” I’m going to scare you…then hand you the weapons of warfare: how to raise kids who master AI instead of being enslaved by it, how to spot demonic deceptions baked into the code, how to use these tools to plunder the strong man’s house instead of letting him plunder yours, and how to prepare a generation that laughs at the “singularity” because they serve the One who spoke the universe into existence with a word—and no large language model will ever come close.

PS – This description was mostly written by Chat GPT.

Courageous Parenting: Raising Confident Christian Kids in a Fallen World
Saturday May 9, 2026 1:30pm - 2:20pm EDT
Normal Christian parenting rhythms are largely failing, and it’s important to take the rose-tinted glasses off and evaluate the spiritual condition of the culture and the accelerating speed of change, causing unprecedented times for parents. We must NOT parent out of fear, but rather courageously equip our children to stand firm in the faith and in truth. It takes more intentionality in the right areas to equip your children to stand firm in the faith as they launch into a far different world than today. This workshop will give you practical insights, encouragement, and a plan for action.

The Union Spymistress: The Story of Elizabeth Van Lew
Saturday May 9, 2026 3:00pm - 3:50pm EDT
When Virginia secedes from the Union and joins the Confederacy, Elizabeth Van Lew of Richmond is horrified. She risks everything to support the Union – her social standing, wealth, and even life itself. Wanting to help Union prisoners, she visits the notorious Libby Prison, a former tobacco warehouse on the James River. In addition to providing food and money, she smuggles messages and passes information to Union forces. She helps prisoners escape, even hiding them in her home. In addition, she orchestrates a massive breakout with her powerful spy ring, the Richmond Underground. She also places a spy within the Confederate White House to report on Jefferson Davis’ activities. By 1865, she communicates directly with General Grant who later raved that she provided the most valuable information about Richmond that he received during the war.

Love that Changes Her: A Husband's Divine Privilege
Saturday May 9, 2026 4:20pm - 5:10pm EDT
Colossians 3:19 calls husbands to a powerful, Christ-like love—one that is intentional, sacrificial, and transformative in a world that is constantly redefining what love truly is. But this calling is not just about a man’s responsibility—it is about God’s design for a thriving marriage and a flourishing family.

In this compelling and practical session, we will explore what it means for a husband to love as a cultivator, gardener, and vine dresser—creating an environment where his wife is strengthened, valued, and able to flourish. At the same time, we will uncover how this kind of love impacts not only a wife’s heart, but the spiritual direction, security, and discipleship of the children watching it lived out every day.

Drawing from Scripture and real-life experience, this session will help:
  • Husbands lead with clarity, courage, and Christ-like love
  • Wives understand, respond to, and be strengthened within God’s design for marriage
  • Families build a foundation where love is lived, faith is modeled, and children are shaped for generations

When God transforms a man’s heart, it doesn’t stop with him—it creates momentum in his marriage, strength in his home, and impact for generations to come where love is cultivated, truth is lived, and discipleship begins.

Stop Apologizing for Your Son - Raising Boys the World Keeps Trying to Soften
Saturday May 9, 2026 4:20pm - 5:20pm EDT
At some point, parents were handed a quiet script:

Explain him. Excuse him. Tone him down.
This talk names the pressure most parents feel but rarely say out loud—the expectation to apologize for normal boyhood in a culture uncomfortable with male strength. Energy becomes a problem. Confidence becomes arrogance. Backbone becomes something to smooth out.

Stop Apologizing for Your Son confronts that pressure directly. It exposes how constant accommodation slowly erodes clarity, how apologizing for boys teaches them to question themselves, and why formation—not fear—is the path forward.
This isn’t about defiance or rebellion.

It’s about refusing to surrender the formation of sons to a culture that doesn’t know what to do with them.
